Melissa Cruz is the Managing Partner for North Capitol Group and has been spearheading the real estate industry for over a decade.

Born in Washington, DC, Melissa has always had a tenacity for team building and her natural leadership, which was birthed at a young age, has led her to her numerous achievements across several different industries. After attending college in New York City, Melissa entered the fashion industry working for several start-up brands in the NYC fashion scene.

Upon returning to DC in 2009, Melissa quickly rose the ranks at Intermix where she eventually became the District Manager for Training and Development for the northeast region of the United States. Although Melissa enjoyed working in the fashion industry her drive to develop high-performing teams led her to an opportunity to dive into the real estate world.

Melissa has a proven track record in creating a positive and productive work environment that encourages innovation and drives results. This is all evident in the teams she's built throughout her time in the real estate industry. After spending several years as a real estate agent to conform to the industry, Melissa put her natural skills to work by joining the management and operational side of real estate.

In 2019, Melissa opened a local title company and developed its growth in building long-lasting relationships, managing several departments including operations, finance, marketing, and human resources. In the same year, Melissa joined forces with a nationally recognized real estate brokerage and served as the Director of Operations for a high-producing team in the DC-Metropolitan area.

At the start of 2021, Melissa continued her growth by working at a national lending company while taking on the role of Managing Partner for North Capitol Group. At North Capitol Group, Melissa utilizes her years of experience to contribute to progressive profitability and foster a positive client experience.
